Salvados por la Gran Guerra, España y América Latina fueron informados por columnistas o voluntarios que siguieron o incluso participaron en el conflicto. El objetivo que persigue el presente volumen colectivo es el rescate tanto de las cartas de voluntarios como de las crónicas publicadas en la prensa.
En él se analizan crónicas de Enrique Domínguez Rodiño, Gaziel, Vicente Blasco Ibáñez, y se perfila la participación en la contienda de figuras como Hernando de Bengoechea, John Dos Passos y Ernst Jünger o la de Luis Bello en el debate español sobre la Gran Guerra.

Perception of the First World War in Spain and Latin America

Abstract
Spared from direct involvement in the Great War, Spain and Latin America were informed by journalists and volunteers who followed or even participated in the conflict. This volume rescues both volunteers’ letters and press chronicles, analyzing works by Enrique Domínguez Rodiño, Gaziel, and Vicente Blasco Ibáñez, while tracing participation in the war of figures like Hernando de Bengoechea, John Dos Passos, Ernst Jünger, and Luis Bello in Spain’s Great War debates.
