Las relaciones entre erotismo y poesía han sido sobradamente estudiadas y su relación es más que evidente. Hasta tal punto que Octavio Paz, en La llama doble, llegó a afirmar que eran indisociables y que la poesía vendría a ser una «erótica verbal». Lo que este ensayo colectivo ofrece al lector es una nueva perspectiva sobre la relación entre erotismo y transgresión, sobre todo en un momento histórico en el que, por un tiempo, todo parecía posible en España, en el que las grandes transformaciones en los ámbitos económico, político, cultural y social constituían la base de la promesa de un futuro feliz. Los distintos acercamientos a las grandes voces de la Generación del 27 presentes en este volumen tratan de ver hasta qué punto el erotismo puede ser transgresor en el contexto del 27 y cómo la poesía se convierte en un espacio de reivindicación de libertad creadora.

The Body and the Word: Eroticism in the Generation of ’27

Abstract
What this collective essay offers the reader is a new perspective on the relationship between eroticism and transgression, especially at a historical moment when, for a time, everything seemed possible in Spain, when major transformations in the economic, political, cultural, and social spheres formed the basis of the promise of a happy future. The different approaches to the major voices of the Generation of ’27 included in this volume attempt to see to what extent eroticism can be transgressive in the context of the ’27 and how poetry becomes a space for the assertion of creative freedom.
