El concepto de hebraica veritas ha variado y se ha modificado su sentido inicial a lo largo de los siglos medievales y la época moderna. Estudiado desde diferentes perspectivas, nosotros queremos acercarnos a este desde una diferente: aquella utilizada por los conversos castellanos en el siglo XV.

Veremos como a través de esta los neófitos reivindicarán su fidelidad y su pertenencia al cristianismo, puesta en entredicho en innumerables ocasiones. La hebraica veritas fue la vía dialéctica que decidieron emplear para contrarrestar los innumerables ataques de los que fueron objeto.

Representations of Minorities in the Hispanic Worlds

Abstract
The concept of hebraica veritas has varied and its initial meaning has changed throughout the medieval centuries and the modern era. Studied from different perspectives, we want to approach it from a different one: that used by Castilian converts in the 15th century.
We will see how, through this perspective, the neophytes claimed their fidelity and belonging to Christianity, which had been called into question on countless occasions. Hebraica veritas was the dialectical approach they decided to use to counteract the countless attacks to which they were subjected.
