Salvados por la Gran Guerra, España y América Latina fueron informados por columnistas o voluntarios que siguieron o incluso participaron en el conflicto. El objetivo que persigue el presente volumen colectivo es el rescate tanto de las cartas de voluntarios como de las crónicas publicadas en la prensa.
En él se analizan crónicas de Enrique Domínguez Rodiño, Gaziel, Vicente Blasco Ibáñez, y se perfila la participación en la contienda de figuras como Hernando de Bengoechea, John Dos Passos y Ernst Jünger o la de Luis Bello en el debate español sobre la Gran Guerra.

Perception of the First World War in Spain and Latin America

Abstract
Saved by the Great War, Spain and Latin America were informed by columnists or volunteers who followed—or even took part in—the conflict. The aim of this collective volume is to recover both the letters of volunteers and the chronicles published in the press.

It analyzes chronicles by Enrique Domínguez Rodiño, Gaziel, and Vicente Blasco Ibáñez, and outlines the participation in the conflict of figures such as Hernando de Bengoechea, John Dos Passos, and Ernst Jünger, as well as Luis Bello in the Spanish debate about the Great War.
